SCC Plano is a multidisciplinary clinic offering comprehensive care, with a focus on primary care and specialized services like urgent care and pain management. We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team, providing routine check-ups, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and preventive care.


Job Summary

  • Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting boards.
  • Perform physicals, mental status, and medical history examinations; record findings subsequently reviewed and countersigned by supervising physician.
  • Synthesizes data and utilizes evidence to develop, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care, including ordering and interpreting laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic studies/ results.

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioners licensure
  • Current DEA licensure
  • Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS
  • M.D. or D.O. trained
  • Experience in UC, ER, FP, IM preferred
  • Current Registration with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, or the ability to become registered before the start date (Only applicable to physician assistants).
  • Authorized to work in the USA
  • Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills and must be able to efficiently enter data into an Electronic Medical Records system.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good judgment, dependability, and integrity
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Experience:

Two to three years of relevant clinical family practice/ internal medicine experience required.
